In the same decade the first Australian manufactured Holden rolled of the production line, another Australian manufacturer, Wilson & Gilkes, opened their doors; supplying Australian’s with locally design and manufactured audiovisual equipment.

In the following 5 decades Australians eagerly embraced the emerging technologies of slideshows, super 8 film & home movies, personal tape recorders followed by video, CD, DVD and eventually full digital delivery technology with advanced audio technology.
